Seaham
Seaham is a town and seaport in County Durham, England, about 2 miles west of Sunderland city centre. Seaham is home to around 22,000 people and has a strong emphasis on fishing. The town boasts sandy beaches, beautiful coastal views, a thriving cultural scene and plenty of entertainment.
The engineering sector in Seaham is diverse, from telecommunications and computer services to manufacturing and construction. The area is home to a number of large businesses and there are plenty of opportunities for undergraduates both locally and outside of Seaham.
Seaham town is just 15 minutes from the junction of the A19 and A1141. Seaham train station also has regular services to Durham, Sunderland and Newcastle city centres.
