NRL are currently recruiting Skilled Fitters for roles based in Boldon.

This is a full-time, permanent role working within our clients engineering team, focusing on the design and manufacturing of packaged sub stations, switchboards, power distribution units, motor control panels, final power distribution and control equipment.

Duties include:

  • Build modular steelwork systems.

  • Installation of electrical components (e.g., circuit breakers & fuse-switches)

  • Wiring of electrical power components and control panels

  • Inspect & record your work activities.

  • Attend and contribute to regular team briefings.

  • Assist in the company’s safety efforts by maintaining a good level of housekeeping and always considering health & safety.


Desired Experience:

  • Ability to read Electrical Schematics diagrams.

  • Skilled in use of hand & power tools.

  • Strong attention to detail and able to work with minimal supervision.

  • NVQ Level 3 or Equivalent

Working Hours:

7am-4.45pm Monday - Thursday

Overtime available Friday and Saturday


Salary - Competitive - depending on previous experience
