Project Controls Manager – Visp, Switzerland

 

The Project Controls Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, scheduling, cost management, and risk management of projects. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in project controls and a deep understanding of project management principles.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, including milestones and deliverables.
  • Cost Management: Monitor project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure projects are completed within budget.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and costs.
  • Track project progress and performance, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Prepare and present detailed project reports, including status updates, forecasts, and variance analyses.
  • Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.
  • Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project controls processes.
  • Ensure all projects comply with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
 

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project controls or project management.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Certification in Project Management (PMP) or a related field is preferred.
