NRL are working on behalf of our client who are looking for a Senior Cost Planner to join our Northern team focussing on high profile, technically complex mechanical and electrical projects across multiple sectors. 

The role can be based from Newcastle, Leeds, Manchester or Birmingham with hybrid working an option.

ABOUT THE ROLE  

Our Senior Cost Planners will provide early Cost Estimating for the pipeline of work in line with RIBA planned stages of work or Office of Government Commerce (OGC) gateways etc. To ensure that pricing levels are realistic and meet the requirements for Pre-bid, tender period(s) and aligned through the pre-construction process.   

As our Senior Cost Planner you will be involved in:   

  • Assisting in the profitability and turnover via the delivery of Regional Workload pipeline.   

  • The full and accurate production of Cost Plans and Cost Advice covering high value and/or complex projects aligned with RIBA 0-4 Plan or Works stages.   

  • Producing Cost Plans tailored to suit bid and/or project requirements e.g., cost modelling, elemental GIFA, functional unit pricing, elemental unit quants and rates, approximate quants and sector benchmarking.
