Job Title: CAD Operator

Location: Limerick, Ireland

Job Description:

Our client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CAD Operator to join the team in Limerick. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CAD systems, smart applications, and 3D model packages, along with a thorough understanding of drawing procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilise CAD systems to create and modify detailed drawings and layouts.

  • Work with smart applications and 3D model packages to develop accurate and efficient designs.

  • Follow established drawing procedures to ensure consistency and quality.

  • Collaborate with team members to ensure drawings meet project specifications and standards.

  • Maintain and update drawing office procedures, including title block formatting, tagging, labelling, and symbology.

  • Produce and review P&IDs, AF&IDs, building layouts, and schematics.

  • Ensure proper drawing controls are in place and adhered to.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in CAD systems and smart applications.

  • Experience with 3D model packages and drawing procedures.

  • Familiarity with drawing office procedures, including title block formatting, tagging, labelling, and symbology.

  • Experience with P&IDs, AF&IDs, building layouts, and schematics.

  • General knowledge of drawing controls.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Some training may be provided for a suitable candidate.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to work.
