Location: Visp, Switzerland
Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Lagerist/Logistiker to join our team for an exciting project in the pharmaceutical sector. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our warehouse and logistics operations to ensure efficient and compliant production processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials and products in accordance with company procedures.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper stock levels are maintained.
- Prepare and dispatch orders, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to production and other departments.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient logistics operations.
- Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, environmental, and quality standards.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in warehouse and logistics operations, preferably in a pharmaceutical or biotech company.
- Forklift certification and experience operating warehouse equipment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and proficiency in German; knowledge of English is an advantage.
- Knowledge of GMP compliance requirements is preferred.
