My client is seeking a skilled and experienced Civil Engineer to join their team in the pharmaceutical industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing construction and maintenance of building structures and infrastructure. This role requires a strong understanding of the unique requirements of pharmaceutical facilities, including clean rooms, laboratories, and manufacturing areas.

Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop plans for pharmaceutical facilities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Oversee construction projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
Conduct site inspections and assessments to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure the successful execution of projects.
Prepare and present technical reports, feasibility studies, and project proposals.
Ensure that all projects adhere to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and other relevant pharmaceutical industry standards.
Manage project documentation, including contracts, permits, and regulatory approvals.
Provide technical support and guidance to the maintenance team for ongoing facility operations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on the pharmaceutical industry.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
Experience with CAD software and other engineering design tools.
Excellent project management and organizational skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with clean room design and construction.
Knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and facility requirements.
Familiarity with environmental and safety regulations specific to the pharmaceutical industry.
