Our client, a leading innovator within the engineering and manufacturing sector are currently seeking an experienced Welding Inspector based in Sheffield.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all welding inspection meets the specified standards and requirements, ensuring the integrity and longevity of critical infrastructure in the engineering, manufacturing, renovation, and power industry sectors.


 About the role:

  • Inspecting and assessing the quality and strength of welding work.

  • Inspecting the equipment used and ensuring adherence to safety regulations.

  • Examining connections and bonds between metals using visual tools and electrical instruments.

  • Ensuring that all related welding activities, plans, and materials follow appropriate guidelines.

What you will need:

  • Qualification CSWIP 3.1 (essential)

  • PCN Level 2 (preferred not essential)

  • UT Certified (preferred not essential)

  • Great communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Exceptional levels of attention to detail especially whilst working in workshop environment.
