Position - Site Quality Engineer

NRL are currently seeking a highly motivated Site Quality Engineer to join one of our clients team who are currently constructing a new Nuclear Powerstation based in Somerset. As a Site Quality Engineer, you will be tasked with quality control of Coating/Painting activities on site and ensuring that subcontractors deliver the to the project requirements.
Duties:
Act as the subject matter expert for contract coating/painting & insulation processes
Provide expertise in various coating inspection technologies
To Review Coating/Painting/Insulation documents submitted by subcontractors
Monitor the quality activities of the partners and subcontractors versus the Inspection and Test Plan, check the results of the tests are documented according to the relevant standards / project requirements
Involve in ensuring all witness and hold points as per the ITPL are notified to the client
To be suitable for this position you will need to have the following:
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in multicultural construction site in the Power Plant Industry and ideally in the Nuclear Sector
Proficiency in coating/Insulation inspection techniques, equipment, and materials
NACE, ICORR, CSWIP, or BGAS Level III qualifications in Coating
This position is due to start on the 2nd September.
Hours - 50hrs a week
Salary - Candidate led based on experience
