NRL are currently recruiting for an experienced Quality Engineer to work on behalf of one of our leading clients in the Nuclear Sector based in Gloucestershire.


The project requires an experienced Quality Engineer who can manage Quality Plans/ITPs and Lifetime Records as well as:

  • Set up the Project Quality System to ensure correct interface of documentation so needs a good understanding of quality policies and procedures

  • Understands project requirements and subsequently what is required both internally and from the sub-contractors in terms of Project Quality Documentation and how these reference/link to each other

  • Provide time to review, comment and accept supplier quality documentation produced concurrent to works completed for Lifetime Records

  • Provide support to site delivery team during project execution (noting intent is for the site team to take ownership of Quality Documentation once produced and sign off steps in the QP/ITP’s as they progress).


You will need:

  • Lead Auditor ISO9001 2015 Certificate (preferred)

  • ONC/HNC in Mechanical Engineering

  • Experience within Mechanical, Coatings, Welding etc.

  • Highly skilled in LTR’s (Life Time Records) and ITP’s (Inspection & Test Plans)

  • Coordination of work packs, quality plans, and weekly report sheet

  • Highly competent with Health, Safety & Quality procedures & policies

  • Nuclear industry experience highly desired but not essential
