Project Engineer – Global Client – New Project – Long Term Career Scope - Excellent Salary & Benefit Package – Quick Turnaround on Application

Overview:

Our client, a leading innovator in complex project delivery in the Energy, Nuclear, Defence and Security Industries, is seeking experienced an Project Engineer to work on a new and exciting long-term project in Lancashire.

 

The successful candidates will join a highly motivated, inclusive and diverse team that is rapidly growing and delivering state-of-the-art strategic and tactical support on highly acclaimed projects and programmes.


Key Skills & Attributes:

Must have a wide range of experience in project engineering in a highly regulated & safety focused organisation. Ideally in Nuclear, Defence, MOD, Rail, Construction. Oil & Gas, Pharmaceutical or Manufacturing etc.

Highly skilled in the following areas

  • Strong background in engineering (Mechanical, or Electrical & Instrumentation)
  • Preparation of engineering documents
  • Able to implement and maintain engineering documentation including quality plans.
  • Technical review of contractor drawings and documents.
  • Manage technical queries in accordance with client procedures
  • CDM awareness
  • Prepare engineering changes.
  • Strong compliance expertise in relation to the application of safety, environmental and quality standards. Uphold and promote company policies and procedures together with all relevant legislative and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications / Accreditations:

Typically, HND/HNC in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation)
Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) or IOSH (Preferred)
APM preferred (not essential)

Skilled at cultivating stakeholder relationships at all levels.

Clearance Requirements: BPSS/CTC Cleared or ability to achieve this.
