The Job

- Travel will be required to visit project sites, regional offices, client and supplier premises, requiring occasional overnight stays, all with notice

The purpose of the role
- The Process Engineer/Senior Process Engineer is responsible for the Hydrogen Electrolyser System high level design, contract specification and system safety, ensuring projects meet the performance, service and safety requirements defined in the contract, by law, and by the companies exacting focus on safety.

The role provides process engineering technical advice relating to:
- Hydrogen electrolysis and ancillary systems incl. water treatment, gas handling and processing
- High pressure compression;
- High pressure storage;
- Distribution of hydrogen and delivery interface with customer(s);
- Process safety, including Asset Management and O&M adoption
Key Responsibilities
- Own, specify and review safety requirements for hydrogen production facilities projects
- Developing practices and solutions to improve safety and quality in Hydrogen projects, including controls and optimisation.
- Lead communication with external authorities to ensure compliance with regulations and notification of incidents and changes to the Health & Safety authority.
- Define safety-based constraints for site finding including management of consequence modelling
- Electrolyser, compressor and storage sizing, selection and configuration;
- Preparation of the technical specifications and definition of the FAT & SAT for hydrogen production facilities
- Provision of technical support during the delivery phase regarding end user requirements and system performance.
- Process Engineers may also support or manage other technology workstreams and other regions within their global markets.
