NRL is looking to recruit experienced Planning Engineers to support one of our key clients. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a critical programme. What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Build and manage detailed project schedules using Primavera P6, covering the full project lifecycle from concept through to delivery and closeout.

  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure schedule accuracy, alignment, and progress tracking.

  • Apply Earned Value Management (EVM) techniques to monitor schedule performance and forecast outcomes.

  • Support the integration of third-party and contractor schedules into master project plans.

  • Perform critical path and variance analysis, contributing to key project decisions and risk assessments.

  • Manage schedule baselines and implement changes in line with project governance.

  • Work within a highly regulated environment, promoting high standards of safety, compliance, and quality.


What You’ll Need:

  • HNC/HND in Engineering or relevant discipline, or equivalent industry experience.

  • Strong hands-on experience with Primavera P6 (latest version) and proven ability to manage complex project schedules.

  • Broad understanding of project lifecycles and controls processes, including scope, cost, risk, and change management.

  • Proficiency in applying scheduling tools and methodologies such as critical path analysis and EVM.

  • Familiarity with Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), Project Control Structures (PCS), and integration of schedule with cost and resources.

  • Strong communication and reporting skills, with the ability to present technical data clearly to stakeholders.

  • Experience working in regulated industries, ideally nuclear, energy, or large-scale infrastructure.
