Supporting our communities

At the NRL Group, we want everyone who works with us to feel valued and supported, whether that’s through investing in their training and development or providing access to Mental Health First Aiders.

From colleagues who join one of the NRL Group’s businesses to the candidates and contractors we recruit to support our clients, we welcome applications from individuals from all backgrounds and are dedicated to advancing our diversity and inclusion strategy. From supporting personnel transitioning from the Armed Forces to rewarding civilian careers or breaking down barriers for individuals with disabilities, we are committed to driving meaningful change.

Supporting our planet

Whether we’re focused on reducing our own carbon footprint as a business or supporting our clients in drive net zero in their energy and engineering sectors, making a positive difference is at the heart of what we do.

From transitioning to electric vehicles for our company fleet to contributing to the construction of the UK’s largest electric vehicle battery manufacturing gigafactory, we take pride in the work we do to help protect our planet.

Helping to deliver net zero

Our Recruitment teams work with our clients to support the energy transition projects across the globe bringing us closer to net zero.

"I came across the STEM Ambassador programme and thought it would be a great initiative to get involved with. With the support of NRL, I have been able to visit various schools around the North East, carrying out activities such as mock interviews, careers fairs and speed networking. To date I have carried out a total of 22 hours in volunteering, reaching over 1,662 participants. It has been one of the most rewarding experiences I have had in my career. It is a great feeling to know you are helping empower the younger generation and see them so engaged in the activities we carry out. I am looking forward to continuing on with the programme for years to come."
