Job Description:
Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical & Piping (M&P) Lead to join our team for the pharma project in Frankfurt. The M&P Lead will be responsible for overseeing all mechanical and piping activities, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and delivering high-quality results within the project timeline.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the mechanical and piping engineering team, providing guidance and support to ensure project objectives are met.
- Develop and implement mechanical and piping design strategies, ensuring alignment with project requirements and regulatory standards.
- Coordinate with other engineering disciplines, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of mechanical and piping systems.
- Review and approve mechanical and piping designs, specifications, and drawings.
- Oversee the procurement of mechanical and piping materials, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Monitor and control project budgets, schedules, and resources related to mechanical and piping activities.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
- Resolve technical issues and provide innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges.
- Prepare and present progress reports to project management and clients.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical and piping engineering, with a focus on pharmaceutical projects.
- Proven leadership experience in managing engineering teams and large-scale projects.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards, codes, and regulations related to mechanical and piping systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound engineering decisions.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in engineering software and tools relevant to mechanical and piping design.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in German is a plus.
