Infrastructure Lead – Wigan
The Infrastructure Lead, based out of our Wigan Group Support Office (WN3 6GL), will be responsible for managing and maintaining NRL’s infrastructure and ensuring IT services remain secure, performant and available. This is a hands-on role in a small team, working closely with other Group Support teams to deliver first class systems and solutions across the NRL Group’s Recruitment and Contracting businesses. It is a rewarding role with the ability to help shape the future of our IT systems and service capability.

What we’re looking for:
A minimum of five years of experience with:
Office 365, including management of Teams, SharePoint, and Exchange
Azure Cloud Services, including design and deployment
Active Directory, Azure AD/Entra ID and Windows Client and Server technologies
PowerShell scripting
At least 2 years supporting:
Microsoft Intune or similar MDM solutions
Microsoft Defender Suite
Proven skills in network design, troubleshooting complex networking issues
Experience of the following would be highly desirable:
Dev-Ops (CI/CD)
Teams Phone
Relational Database Support, i.e. MS SQL, MYSQL
Linux (Debian based)
Docker/Kubernetes
Professional certifications in Microsoft Azure and/or Office 365 are also highly desirable
Ability to work onsite, with very occasional travel to NRL’s branch locations
A self-motivated team player that provides positive support to colleagues and delivers excellent customer service

A confident communicator, that has good written and verbal communication skills
