From the comprehensive review of construction plans to the meticulous management of risk assessments, their role is multifaceted and pivotal to ensuring compliance throughout a project’s lifecycle.

What are the requirements for this kind of role?
A CDM Advisor plays a crucial role in shaping the future of infrastructure projects, so it’s important to have a thorough understanding of the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 and necessary qualifications like a NEBOSH certificate or other relevant health and safety or engineering certifications. It’s also a role that demands expertise, so any prior experience within highly regulated environments like nuclear or defence projects is also ideal.
