Colleagues in our North East recruitment team are looking forward to their first face to face networking event in 18 months, as they prepare to exhibit at NEPIC’s Meet the Members 2021 conference in October.
The team joined the North East of England Process Industry Cluster (NEPIC) earlier in the year, so the event on Wednesday 20th October provides the first opportunity to meet the organisation’s members in person. NRL’s North East Branch Director Gillian Gomersall and Branch Manager Emma Lowden will be in attendance and keen to find out more about the businesses involved in NEPIC and their future growth plans.
NRL announced plans last year to extend their North East recruitment and workforce solutions into Teesside, following growing demand from their clients in the region including supporting regeneration projects such as MGT Teesside’s Renewable Energy Plant (TeesREP) on Teesworks. This move will expand the local expertise they’ve delivered for over 30 years from their offices based in Tyne and Wear.
Discussing the upcoming event, NRL’s Gillian Gomersall said:
“We’re excited to be able to join together with other NEPIC members to celebrate the great things happening in our region. It’s been a long time since we’ve been able to safely attend business networking events such as these, and our first time meeting our fellow NEPIC members, so we’re really looking forward to it.
We’re also keen to hear first-hand about the great industry initiatives happening across the region and what projects and innovations members are working on.
Networking events like these are vital to ensure we’re all working together as an industry to drive best practice, so Emma and I are particularly interested in meeting with our peers during the 1-2-1 appointments. If you’re involved in the chemical-processing and engineering sectors in the region and are not a member of NEPIC, you’re still welcome to attend – we’d love to meet you!”
About NEPIC
The North East of England Process Industry Cluster is a not-for-profit organisation that brings together organisations in the region within the process-chemical and engineering sectors. Working to ensure the region thrives by facilitating investments and stakeholder collaborations to advance the North East’s industry expertise. A key part of this achieving these goals are networking events, as well as working with local universities, research institutes and public bodies.
About the Meet the Members conference
A popular event in NEPIC’s calendar, the conference provides a great opportunity for members to network with their peers as well as hear the latest sector investment, project updates and industry insight.
