A global cleantech company, operating in energy from waste & renewable gas, are looking for an experienced Electrical Site Supervisor, and Mechanical Site Supervisor to join their commissioning team based in Slough then moving to the next site in Westfield.
About the role:
Demonstrating leadership and commitment to HSEQ & leading the contractor teams to implement and comply with project requirements.
Ensuring that all relevant HSEQ requirements are incorporated in consultation with site management and HSE team, and HSE hazards are eliminated or relieved.
Ensuring that risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) are reviewed with regards to HSE requirements, and that work is carried out in accordance with the RAMS.
Responsible for the safety and HSE performance, and for stopping work where this might be compromised.
Ensuring works within area of responsibility are performed in accordance with the contract and conform with project time and budget requirements.
Co-operating with erection contractors and exchanges experience with colleagues responsible for products and other project teams and specialist departments.
Planning and implementing of the installation testing procedures.
Work alongside the Site Manager and keep them informed of all site-related activities.
Site Supervisor Electrical keeps the Site Head Electrical informed of all site-related activities.
What you will need:
Mechanical/Electrical Engineering Degree.
Experience as supervisor in construction of large industrial plant.
Experience in the co-ordination of contracts / contractors on site.
Experience as a leader of HSEQ and knowledge of relevant HSEQ legal and management system requirements.
Knowledge of relevant international and national technical standards.
Need site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS), valid Safety Contractors Certificate or equivalent.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft suite applications.
