NRL are recruiting for a Site Quality Advisor to join one of our leading clients at a site in Winchester, starting from January 9th.


Main Responsibilities:

- Coordinating with Factory Lead, Logistics Lead and Project Manager for delivery of equipment, to construction sites

- Develop inspection check sheets for all equipment arriving on site

- Inspection of equipment when it arrives on site. Visual inspections are to be conducted and the condition of all containers and equipment shall be recorded. Photos/videos shall be taken of each container and subsequently the equipment packaging. Any damages / defects shall be reported (within the same day) to the Project Manager for subsequent action.

- Sign delivery notes as required

- Witness and record offloading of equipment. SQA to ensure that the Customer offloads the equipment in accordance with offloading specifications.

- Cross check delivered quantities against planned quantities. Any discrepancies in quantities should be reported to the Project Manager within the same day

- Where storage of equipment is required, ensure all equipment is stored safely and in accordance with manufacturers specification.

- Witnessing lifting and placement of equipment onto prepared foundations/structures.

- Witnessing cable terminations for all equipment.

- Any design concerns/clarifications regarding equipment should be raised with the Project Manager and the responsible Project Engineer

- Undertaking technical investigations as required, coordinating with appropriate team members and prepare report.

- Monitoring battery re-positioning activity and be a liaison between principal contractor/customer.

 
Qualifications:

- Experience in Industrial Construction Site Management

- Exposure to Testing and Commissioning of electrical equipment’s

- Experience in Power/Energy sector. Battery storage and Solar PV experience would be advantageous

- First Aid Certified and have active qualification

- CDM Trained and qualified
