Working with a leading international company in nuclear, NRL are looking to recruit a highly motivated Senior CS&A Technician to work as part of a cross-disciplinary team.

The role can be based out of their offices in Warrington, Westlakes, Bristol or Glasgow on a hybrid basis.


About the role:

  • Will form a role within a design team undertaking Civil, Structural or Architectural design activities.

  • Will provide technical guidance and support to projects and mentor others.

  • Will apply knowledge to develop design solutions to a wider range of common or complex design situations & platforms.

  • Directly accountable for the designs, developments and determines solutions to problems and issues within a discipline area

What you will need:

  • Need to be able to get SC clearance

  • A good understanding of engineering, architectural and design and detailing practises as relevant to their discipline

  • Excellent knowledge of CAD, good written and verbal communication skills

  • A depth of knowledge and experience related to subject areas and excellent understanding of CDM and design for construction

  • An understanding and ability to apply BIM principles and processes

  • Have a wealth of experience across the full cycle of CS&A design and be comfortable developing concept designs as well as producing more detailed designs

  • Working with integrated multi-disciplinary teams to delivery design solutions and promote effective co-operation across design and other functional teams

  • HNC minimum in a relevant discipline OR equivalent academic qualification

  • Member of relevant institute or significant demonstrable experience

  • Fully flexible as travel may be required to fulfil the role
