A leading international company in nuclear is looking to recruit a highly motivated Quality Assurance Engineer at Leicester Radar Road.


About the role:

  • To provide quality assurance support to the business in support of service delivery, with specific emphasis on support to the assurance projects and programmes.

  • Will be responsible for ensuring that activities like audits are carried out to establish the implementation status of the assurance programme and projects

  • To understand the Business Management System; and is able to review and update BMS documentation

  • Is able to support problem or improvement activities and support activity against an agreed assurance programme

  • Provides support to both the Senior Quality Manager where appropriate and to support with planning, scheduling, conducting and reporting of audits

What you will need:

  • Need to be able Security Check (SC) cleared

  • Science/ Engineering degree or equivalent qualification or experience

  • Chartered number gf Quality Institute and registered on appropriate CPD Scheme

  • Approved Auditor qualification or has demonstrable skills and track record

  • Have a proven track record preferably gained a similar tole in the Nuclear or other highly regulated high hazard industry

  • Good working knowledge of the Nuclear industry

  • Good working knowledge of all relevant quality standards and requirements

  • Good working knowledge of the customers quality requirements where appropriate

  • Good working knowledge and application of ISO9001 and ISO017025 where relevant

  • The ability to investigate events using industry best practise causal analysis tools

  • Fully flexible to fulfil the requirements of the role
