NRL are proud to be working with a leader and powerhouse within the renewables sector.

To be based in Middlesbrough, they are looking for a strong Project Manager to join their Commercial Project team. 


You will

  • deliver professional support and advise on the performance of contracts both internally, and externally with the customer
  • Manage supplier and subcontractor deliveries and supporting documentation and deliverables to ensure production is on time and on budget
  • Understand the contract and obligations from a technical, commercial, and schedule perspective
  • Develop the core Project Management system and procedures in alignment with good offshore wind practice

Job Duties

What you’ll do on a day-to-day basis


• Manage the key aspects of the project, scope, schedule, finance performance, risk, quality and resources

• Liaise and delegate to all business pillars to ensure project excellence, on time delivery, and on budget (Finance, Commercial, Production, QA, HSE, Logistics, Snr Management)

• Being the key point of contact with the customer's appointed “Engineer”

• High-level internal and external reporting

• Conduct regular meetings with Client, Production, Suppliers, and Sub-contractors

• Ensure that all documentation and reports are delivered on time and asper requirements

• Develop mitigation plans and strategies with support of all business pillars
 

Experience/Education/Skills/


• Project Management Qualification (Prince 2, Scrum),

• P6 Project Planning expert

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Engineering is preferred or equivalent

• Face to face Client experience on site

• Strong leadership experience

• Excellent communications skills

• Heavy Engineering or manufacturing experience

• Worked on or with multiple disciplines (QA, HSE, Engineering, Fabrication etc.…)

• String Supplier experience with Steel Plates, Flanges, Fabricators, and Coating companies

• Knowledge of HSE and QA industry requirements

• Strong commercial acumen and ethics

• Concise understanding of what success looks like in delivering larges scale high value projects
