NRL are currently recruiting for a Production Technician to work on behalf of one of our clients offshore, mobilising from Blackpool.
 
Expectations within the role: -
 
  • Operates high pressure gas production/processing plant and utilities equipment in accordance with procedures, utilising both on-plant and control room equipment, monitoring performance through control systems and regular on-site patrol
  • Person to act in place of the Intervention Offshore Installation Manager
  • Acts as Area Technician, monitoring and controlling all activities within a defined area of jurisdiction
  • Acts as Mechanical Isolating Authority, applying and testing mechanical isolations within defined area of jurisdiction
  • Supports the Production Team Lead in drawing up Permits to Work and in preparing plans for planned and defect maintenance
  • Performs first line maintenance and remedial tasks, maintaining appropriate records
  • Analyses plant performance data to ensure the plant is performing at optimum efficiency, producing reports and recommendations on the findings
  • Perform nominated emergency response role/duties and maintain the necessary competencies to perform these duties.
 
You will need:  -
  • Helicopter landing officer experience
  • Helideck assistant experience
  • Single and twin fall coxswain
  • Emergency response team member
  • Banksman
  • Offshore first aid
  • Management of major emergencies
  • All offshore certifications must be in date (survival, medical and MIST)
  • BTEC ordinary certificate or equivalent in an engineering discipline
