Principal Drainage Engineer

Services to be supported during the duration of the contract are detailed below. 

A requirement to undertake additional services shall be mutually agreed by way of contract amendment:

  • Acting as underground drainage discipline Engineer

  • Preparation of drainage specifications and related documents

  • Development of preliminary drainage networks designs (storm water & foul)

  • Development of MTOs

  • Checking of drawing deliverables

  • Participate in daily discipline meetings and other multidiscipline meetings as may be required

  • Checking of deliverables prepared by others

Deliverables:

Services should be provided, within the agreed schedule, to produce the following deliverables.  Where required as part of project specific works, specific clients and durations will be called off as part of the purchase order.  Key deliverables to include:

  • Calculation analysis

  • Calculation Reports

  • Specifications & Reports

  • Civil & structural MTOs

Skills & Experience:

  • Detailed knowledge and experience of using Info drainage software

  • Detailed knowledge of current UK statutory drainage requirements and practices

  • Experience of designing drainage networks for industrial facilities

Documents prepared will be checked for quality, completeness and accuracy to ensure they meet both Petrofac’s quality and acceptance criteria and the end client’s requirements.  Correction and resubmission of deliverables will be required where this is not the case.
