NRL’s client, a service provider in the Oil and Gas, Power Generation, Petrochemical and related industries, is on the lookout for a highly skilled and motivated Piping Engineer to join their team in Teesside.

You will take on a pivotal role in ensuring that all designs comply with industry standards and meet client specifications. Your expertise will be critical in delivering high-quality, cost-effective solutions that drive the success of industrial projects.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Engineering: Develop and review detailed piping designs and engineering documents. Ensure all designs adhere to industry standards, codes, and client requirements.

  • Technical Expertise: Utilize your extensive knowledge of piping systems to solve complex technical challenges and address any issues related to piping engineering.

  • Software Proficiency: Employ AutoCAD 3D and other relevant design software to create and modify piping designs. Ensure accurate and efficient use of these tools in your work.

  • Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, project managers, and team members. Provide technical support and guidance as needed.

  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve technical and contractual issues that may arise during the project lifecycle. Develop innovative solutions to overcome obstacles and ensure project success.


What You Will Need:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

  • Industry Experience: Extensive experience in piping engineering within the petrochemical or similar industries, with a proven track record of successful project execution.

  • Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in AutoCAD 3D and other design software relevant to piping engineering.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively.

  • Problem-Solving Ability: Demonstrated ability to resolve technical and contractual issues efficiently and effectively.
