We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Administrator to join our team working full time on site at HPC.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely payment to employees, and maintaining compliance with relevant legislation. This role requires strong analytical skills and proficiency in various accounting software, as well as experience in human resources and accounts payable functions.
Duties:
Process payroll for all employees accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
Maintain employee records in the Kelio and Sage 50 Payroll, ensuring all data is up-to-date and accurate.
Collaborate with the human resources department to manage employee benefits, deductions, and tax information.
Conduct data entry tasks related to payroll processing, ensuring accuracy in all entries.
Analyse payroll data to identify discrepancies or issues, providing solutions as necessary.
Generate payroll reports for management review and assist with audits as required.
Utilise accounting software such as Sage 50 Payroll to manage payroll processes effectively.
Stay informed about changes in payroll legislation and best practices to ensure compliance.
Extended training related to HPC site regulations will be provided.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Payroll Administrator or similar role within human resources or accounting departments.
Proficiency in accounting software, particularly Sage 50 Payroll.
Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
Knowledge of HRIS systems and their integration with payroll processes.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively under tight deadlines.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise effectively with employees at all levels.
