Our client, a leading innovator within the engineering and manufacturing sector are currently seeking an experienced Painting Inspector based in Sheffield.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all painting & coating applications meet the specified standards and requirements, ensuring the integrity and longevity of critical infrastructure in the engineering, manufacturing, renovation, and power industry sectors.

About the role:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of surface preparation and painting/coating application processes.

  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations.

  • Perform and document inspections and tests according to established procedures.

  • Identify and report defects or non-conformities and recommend corrective actions.

  • Maintain accurate records of inspections and test results.

  • Working to industry best practices, technological advancements, and regulatory requirements.

What you will need:

  • Qualified to ICORR Level 3 (or equivalent)

  • Proven track record in Painting Inspection, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
