Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced NEC 3 Utility Project Manager to join our team at Old Oak Common in London. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with utility stakeholders and a strong understanding of NEC 3 contracts.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the complete lifecycle of utility diversion projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with utility stakeholders to negotiate and coordinate diversion plans that align with project requirements.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with utility companies to ensure smooth and efficient project execution.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address any project-related issues.
  • Provide regular project updates to senior management and stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in project management, specifically in utility diversion projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of NEC 3 contracts and their application in utility projects.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills to effectively engage with utility stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with utility regulations and permits.
  • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is desirable.
Day-to-day
  • Coordinating with utility stakeholders to review and approve diversion plans.
  • Conducting site visits to assess project progress and address any potential issues.
  • Communicating project updates and milestones to senior management and project stakeholders.
  • Managing project budget and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Collaborating with the project team to address any project-related challenges and implement efficient solutions.
