I am seeking an experienced MEP Lead to join our team in Macclesfield for an exciting pharmaceutical project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Semiconductor, Clean Rooms, Hospitals, Laboratories, and Data Centres.
As an MEP Lead, your day-to-day activities will include coordinating with project stakeholders to align MEP system designs with project goals, conducting team meetings to review progress and address any challenges, and providing technical expertise to resolve complex MEP-related issues. You will also be involved in evaluating new technologies and best practices in MEP systems to enhance project efficiency and sustainability.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the design, installation, and maintenance of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems on the pharmaceutical project
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the MEP team, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and project requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems with the overall project design
  • Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation for MEP-related tasks
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor MEP system performance and identify areas for improvement
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • Proven experience in MEP management, specifically in Semiconductor, Clean Rooms, Hospitals, Laboratories, and Data Centres
  • In-depth knowledge of MEP codes, standards, and regulations
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a diverse team environment
  • Project management certification (e.g. PMP) is a plus
