Our client is currently looking to recruit a Marine Senior Civil or Structural Design Engineer based in our clients London office to deliver the marine structural designs of challenging industrial projects for our Clients.



Responsibilities:

  • The role will initially be on Shipyard Projects involving a range of facilities (Leisure, Commercial and Naval).  Experience in the design of Shipyards will be required, specifically inclusive of Dry Docks and Shiplifts. 

  • Whilst scope will initially involve Shipyards, the role will develop to include various port facilities. 

  • The correct candidate will be working in a multidiscipline project design team.

  • The correct candidate will be providing inputs into projects at Pre-FEED and optioneering through to the production of detailed designs for construction.



Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or higher.

  • Relevant experience in a Consulting based industry

  • Chartered Status with ICE or IStructE preferred

  • Demonstrated high level numerical, reporting and written communication skills (in particular written and spoken English).

  • Ability to build rapport with internal and external teams;
