Job Opportunity: Labourer / Yardman

Contract Type: 6-Month Rolling Contract on a 2-Year Project

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, who is looking for a Labourer / Yardman to support the site team with the day-to-day running of welfare facilities and yard operations. This role involves general housekeeping, managing deliveries, assisting with site maintenance, and ensuring the site remains organised and efficient.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the upkeep of welfare facilities, including maintaining equipment such as generators and ensuring cleanliness across the site.

  • Handle incoming deliveries, including escorting delivery drivers and vehicles to the correct locations on-site.

  • Support the site team with yard maintenance, ensuring materials and equipment are stored properly and the yard is safe and accessible.

  • Work closely with the site management team to contribute to the safe, timely, and successful delivery of the project.

  • Arrive for work in a fit and suitable condition, ready to perform your duties.

  • Maintain and develop your skills to carry out all aspects of the role effectively.

  • Follow instructions and perform additional tasks as required by the line manager or site management team.

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant company HSQE (Health, Safety, Quality, Environment) policies and welfare provisions.
