Position Overview:

The role of Inspection Coordinator is to provide support, advise and expertise to ensure the client's Quality Management and Surveillance Program for an LNG facillity modification project are implemented effectively and efficiently. Functional reporting to the modification quality director for deployed activity and day-to-day interaction with 2nd Party Inspectors and Suppliers.

 

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

• Acts as project level Focal Point for the Supplier Inspection process.

• Develop and implement the project Inspection Plan and Program.

• Identify key inspection requirements and clarify the inspection scope for supplier packages.

• Participate in Kick of Meeting, Leading the Pre inspection meeting and attending critical inspection stages as per approved ITP.

• Review supplier ITP and ensure completeness of manufacturing data records.

• Prepare Look Ahead Schedule and Monthly Project Inspection reports for submission to client.

• Liaise and interface with client quality representatives as required.

• Work closely with the supplier to fully understand quality requirements to provide a service/product that ultimately meets or exceeds project expectations.

• Facilitate Supplier Performance Evaluation as required.

• Manage administration of Inspection resources and close out of all Source Inspection assignments.

• Regularly attend meetings and reports to the Mods Quality Director.

• Lead NCR investigations and root cause analysis on supplier quality anomalies.

•Undertake surveys and audits of manufacturing facilities where necessary.

• Manage & coordinate the 2nd party service providers inspection activities and review received inspection reports.

• Promote HSSE and Quality Culture within the company and all External interaction parties.

 

Skills & Qualifications:

• The role requires demonstrable aptitude for quality (assurance and inspection) and has experience in the oil & gas industry.

• Ability to promote collaboration relationships is essential.

• Demonstrated track record in working with and delivering multifunctional projects.

• CSWIP/AWS, ASNT Level II, NACE Level II, API certifications (Advantageous not essential).

• ISO9001:2015 Lead Auditor certification (Advantageous not essential).

• Demonstrable knowledge of Supplier Quality management in the EPC business.

• Budgeting, Cost Control, Spend Analytics

• Problem solving, Organizational and time management skills.
