NRL are currently recruiting a Goods In/QA Supervisor for a manufacturing facility based in Oldbury.

Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Ongoing

Requirements:
  • Must have good people skills.
  • Knowledge of MEP services.
  • Understanding of structural and pipe fabrication and welding.
  • An enthusiastic manner to strive for perfection in all areas.
  • An understanding of 5S/6S
  • Knowledge of SAP
  • Previous Supervisory experience
  • Quality/Goods In team experience
 Job Duties:
  • Goods-In Management – reviewing Quantity and Initial Inspection, ensuring parts match description and quality required.
  • Ensuring that all deliveries are receipted accurately against the SAP system.
  • Supervising another resource to pick parts for Works Orders.
  • Continued Development and communicating the Parts and Stores Picking Process.
  • Overseeing and conducting regular cycle counts, audits, and reconciliations to ensure inventory is accurate.
  • Training the stores team on any changes to practice / systems
  • Ensuring the Store’s working environment is well maintained and managed.
  • Accountable for all quality packs completed and forwarded to clients in a timely manner.
  • Raising Internal & External NCR’s, sub-contractors and production staff that do not conform to CHtM standards and track progress of completion ready for approval & analyse the trends.
  • Create Quality Alerts and communicate them as required for all issues encountered.
  • Liaise and assist in Fieldview population requirements with the Quality Manager
  • Support Quality Manager in process improvements to ensure that department runs efficiently and effectively
  • Deputise for the Quality Manager role as and when required
Working Hours:
7.30am - 4pm Mon-Thur
7.30am - 1pm Fri

Rate of Pay: Competitive - CIS
