NRL are currently recruiting for a Field Service Engineer to work on behalf of one of our clients in the Scotland area. This role is 39hours per week + overtime & includes travel all over Scotland and the Isles. 
Candidates must be no further than 1 hour drive from Galsgow. 
 

Job Purpose:

Carry out fault finding and diagnosis to a range of diesel generator sets. Resolve electrical and mechanical engine problems. Replacing electrical and mechanical components. Carry out generator servicing.

Roles & Responsibilities:
  • All work to be carried out to reflect company high standards.
  • Carry out planned service and maintenance work on customer generators
  • Carry out remedial repairs & loadbank testing 
  • Carry out panel upgrades
  • Fault find and carry out breakdown repairs to customers equipment
  • Carry out site surveys requests as required
  • Carry out duties on our company on call rota system
  • Work overtime and away from home as required.
  • Complete fully detailed reports on the REA
  • Complete and supply fully detailed timesheets in the required timeline.
  • Maintain appropriate and accurate stock van levels
  • Comply with the Company Health & Safety Policy, including carrying out general housekeeping to ensure work areas are tidy. This includes company vehicles
  • Comply with all aspects of the Company’s ISO standards: Quality management - ISO 9001:2015 / Environmental - ISO 14001: 2015 / Occupational health and safety management - ISO 45001:2018, proactively contributing to the company’s continuous improvement programme
  • Ad-hoc other duties as & when required to meet the needs of the business
  • Observe & demonstrate behaviour in line with the core values of the company
 Qualifications/Skills
  • Must have strong customer focus
  • Good Communication Skills
  • Full UK Driving License
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Work autonomously on own initiative and well as part of a team
  • ECS/CSCS Card
  • DBS/Disclosure Scotland Checks
  • Working at Height
  • Manual Handling
  • Asbestos Awareness
