Site Design Electrical Lead Engineer - Copenhagen
As a Lead Electrical Engineer, you will have a pivotal role in shaping the future of the current project and overseeing the project schedule. We are actively seeking a skilled individual to join our existing team on the Lilly Limerick Project.
Responsibilities:
Act as the onsite representative for all HVAC & Black Utility work associated with the 25L project (Comprising - CUB, Production Building 1 & 2, Spine and Warehouse).
Report daily to the onsite Project Manager.
Engage in a positive and pro-active manner with all other parties at site, within the limits of scope, for the betterment of the project.
The Lead will be the point of contact for any proposed HVAC/Black Utility design changes during the construction phase and assess the impact of this change with the overall team.
Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the project scope, rationale and technology to enable themselves engage meaningfully and effectively.
Respond timely to all contractor RFI’s and Submittals as they arise.
Provide weekly guidance and engage with the Piping Contractor & CM Team to resolve in advance potential RFI hold points to assist in maintaining contractor planned progress.
Liaise with and seek support from onsite team and remote based teams as necessary to respond to queries and/or to implement revisions to the existing design arising from site approved changes or instructions.
Attend relevant site meetings as established/organised by CM, Client, partner AE’s.
Take regular site walks, provided only that the Lead deems it safe, to observe progress, quality, safety or other aspects of note and share such observations with Site team as appropriate.
Qualifications:
Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in Electrical Design and Engineering.
Proven leadership experience in managing design projects and engineering teams.
Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, EPLAN, etc.).
Strong understanding of electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
