Job Title: EI&C DeltaV Engineer
Location: Switzerland

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled EI&C (Electrical, Instrumentation, and Control) DeltaV Engineer to join our team for an exciting project in the pharmaceutical sector. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the development, optimization, and maintenance of automated systems to ensure efficient and compliant production processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, change, optimize, and control production and cleaning recipes and documentation (EBR, SOP, etc.) in accordance with local procedures.
  • Create necessary objects in DeltaV during the recipe-building phase, test them in the development environment, and monitor these blocks during commissioning and qualification phases.
  • Provide automation input required for the setup, commissioning, and qualification of manufacturing suites and equipment.
  • Act as the interface for automation-related matters between different departments, ensuring successful project execution.
  • Monitor the functionality of manufacturing records (EBR) in DeltaV during water batch and first production batch, taking corrective actions in case of deviations.
  • Support running production by troubleshooting automation issues for assigned recipes.
  • Continuously improve procedures and processes (6S, Lean Sigma, KAIZEN, EPS) in compliance with safety, hygiene, environmental, and quality requirements.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in automation engineering and maintenance, preferably in a pharmaceutical company.
  • Proficiency with Emerson DeltaV; experience with MES Syncade is a bonus.
  • Knowledge of GMP compliance requirements is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to interact with various interfaces within the organization and on the shop floor.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a strong focus on collaboration.
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of German is an advantage.
