EHS (LOTO Specialist)

Job Summary: The EHS LOTO Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) program to ensure the safety of all employees during maintenance and servicing of equipment. This role involves conducting risk assessments, training employees, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement the LOTO program in accordance with OSHA standards and company policies.
Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with LOTO procedures.
Provide training and guidance to employees on LOTO procedures and safety practices.
Maintain accurate records of LOTO activities, including equipment maintenance logs and training records.
Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to ensure proper implementation of LOTO procedures.
Investigate incidents related to LOTO and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes related to LOTO and EHS.
Participate in safety meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of the EHS program.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in EHS, with a focus on LOTO procedures.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and training skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Certification in LOTO procedures or related EHS certifications is a plus.
