EC&I Technician (12-Month Contract)
Location: Burghfield Area, UK
Contract Duration: 12 Months
Start Date: Immediate (BPSS clearance acceptable initially)

Eligibility Requirements:
  • Must be eligible for SC clearance (BPSS clearance acceptable initially)
  • Must possess a valid CSCS/ECS card prior to starting
  • Level 3 qualification appropriate to trade
  • Due to the secure nature of the work candidates must have lived & worked in the UK for a minimum of 5 years
Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated EC&I Technician to join our clients team for a 12-month contract in the Burghfield area. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical, control, and instrumentation systems. This role requires a high level of technical expertise and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To participate in the planning and preparation of works including production of RAMS
  • To carry out work in accordance with the work packs and best practice and applicable trade/legal standards
  • To comply with any health and safety requirements of the work pack or work area
  • To report any defects, damage, safety hazards or other problems to their line manager
Qualifications:
  • Level 3 qualification in Electrical, Control, and Instrumentation or related field
  • BS 7671:2008 17th Edition Wiring Regs
  • BS 2391-52 Inspection & Testing
Skills and Experience:
  • Proven experience in EC&I roles
  • Strong technical knowledge of electrical, control, and instrumentation systems
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication skills
