NRL are currently working with a client recruiting a Digital Engineer in the Telford area on a permanent basis.

You will be responsible for the MEP Co-ordination, BIM and Digital Construction of a project. To support the Project team so they receive, drawings, and model to required to deliver a successful project in line with the BIM Execution Plan. 


Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Delivering stage 5 co-ordinated MEP models from stage 4 designs. 

  • Detailing MEP service Modules for manufacture. 

  • Delivering individual service drawings for installation purposes. 

  • Revising drawings to include client instructions. 

  • Uploading drawings to a common data environment. 

  • Dealing with site queries relating to drawings/models. 

  • Inputting of COBie data into the model environment. 

  • Revising models and drawings to as-built status. 

  • Creating Revit families for selected equipment. 

  • Attend and run Coordination meetings with the relevant team members. 

  • Attend the clients BIM / Digital Asset meetings as Imtech’s Representative. 

  • Any other tasks as required by the Digital Engineering Lead. 

Skills and Experience:

  • At least 4 years Revit experience in MEP co-ordination is essential. 

  • A good understanding of MEP systems and how they are installed. 

  • Very Good knowledge of Navisworks for clash detection & model checking. 

  • Good understanding of IS019650 Delivery. 

  • Able to Assist in pre-sales and & sales meetings if required. 

  • 4D experience is preferred but not essential. 

  • 5D experience is preferred but not essential. 

  • Supporting the implementation of BIM standards, documentation, protocols for a variety of customers and projects.
