My client is looking for a Cost Engineer who will be responsible for managing and controlling project costs within the pharmaceutical industry. This role involves estimating, budgeting, and monitoring costs to ensure projects are completed within the approved budget. The Cost Engineer will work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to provide accurate cost information and support decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain project cost estimates and budgets.
Monitor and control project costs, ensuring alignment with the approved budget.
Prepare cost reports and forecasts, highlighting any variances and potential risks.
Collaborate with project managers and engineers to identify cost-saving opportunities.
Conduct cost analysis and provide recommendations for cost optimization.
Review and validate contractor and supplier invoices.
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Participate in project planning and scheduling activities.
Support the preparation of financial reports and presentations for senior management.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date cost records and documentation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Cost Engineer, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry.
Strong knowledge of cost estimation, budgeting, and cost control principles.
Proficiency in cost management software and tools.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Knowledge of industry regulations and standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with pharmaceutical project management.
