Our client, a leading PMC company, is seeking remote, permanently employed engineers across a variety of disciplines to support major energy transition projects across Europe. This role will involve some travel to offices in Central Europe however is predominantly remote initially.

Interfacing with the client and main contractor, we are seeking a Construction Manager to support the project development. Previous experience with onshore oil & gas, petrochemical or energy transition project is essential for this role.


Job Purpose & Scope:

  • Ensure HSSE goals and targets are met

  • Responsible for the overall management of the PMC construction Teams including construction engineers and construction supervisors

  • Coordinate all construction activities for the assigned project

  • Ensure all aspects of construction work scope are being effectively managed and performed by EPCM and other contractors

  • liaise with Engineering to review design and subsequent design deliverable

  • Provide Construction Technical Support for the duration of the assigned project

  • Ensure regular reviews of construction plans , philosophies , execution methods and schedules to identify areas of concern

  • Provide effective construction management and functional input to the assigned project weekly , monthly progress reports

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or High Scholl Diploma with HNC or Equivalent

  • Minimum 15 years if Degree or 20 years if non -degree in the Oil & Gas industries in major projects of USD $200Million or greater

  • Extensive experience in managing on-site construction activities for Oil & Gas AND Petrochemicals projects

  • Knowledge of Oil & Gas project execution , construction management and projects drivers



Communications and languages skills:

  • Proficient in English language oral and written
