Job Title – Commissioning Engineer
This role is the sturdy foundation underpinning our client’s success.
Commissioning Engineers are hugely talented, a bunch of energetic all-rounders who see each project through from start to finish.
An Engineer for this company is a special breed; you have your fingers in lots of pies as you collaborate very closely with your colleagues to drive your project forward and overcome any obstacles thrown your way.

You need to be willing to get stuck in, combining your technical nous, with strong communication and a pinch of lateral thinking to deliver On Spec, to Budget and In Time.
Purpose / Role:
An engineer with a ’hands on’ approach is required to interact with a team of technicians and provide technical support to projects. The candidate must have a positive attitude and be a leader. This is a challenging role and requires someone with excellent communication skills who can work independently and liaise between Customers, Engineering and Project Managers to provide clients with quality product, commissioned to the requirements of the project and specification.
Day to Day responsibilities:
Support in producing detailed documentation to ensure products are commissioned to meet the contractual specification and will meet the Customer requirements.
Involved in projects from first principles, from concept through to detailed.
Manage technical issues that arise during the process.
Check the commissioning process has been completed correctly and results are within specification.
Plan all commissioning activities within the manufacturing facilities.
Support other engineers as required
Responsible for Health & safety
Pre delivery quality checks
Qualifications & Experience:
Open minded with a keen to learn attitude.
First rate communicator.
Self-motivated and persistent in getting from A to B.
Diligent in attention to detail.
Adaptable when unexpected challenges crop up.
HND in a relevant subject (or working towards)
Other Information:
Successful applicants will be based at our Riding Mill headquarters, in North East England, working on site as required.
Working abroad may be required at times.
We offer hybrid working as part of this role.
