Job Title: Civils Operative
Location: Heysham Power Station
Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Civils Operative to join our clients team at Heysham Power Station. The role involves carrying out essential groundwork duties and providing support with various labouring tasks across the site. This position requires an individual with hands-on experience in civil works and the ability to follow strict health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform general groundwork, such as: Excavation, trenching, and concreting
Assist trades on-site with a variety of labouring duties
Ensure all work is performed in compliance with health and safety regulations
Provide support to site teams with additional tasks as required
Maintain a clean and organised working environment
Requirements:
Previous experience in civils or construction work
Strong understanding of health and safety standards
CSCS card (required)
CTC clearance or SC clearance preferred
Ability to work as part of a team and independently
Hours: 38 hours a week with overtime available

To gain access to Nuclear sites you need to have CTC clearance, candidates without clearance will need to have it processed by NRL before their start date. This requires completing a DBS application and providing the previous 3 years of your employment history. We have a dedicated team of nuclear vetting consultants that will guide you through this process.
A pre contract drug and alcohol test will also be conducted before the job commences.
