Job Description:

  • Support of all Supply Chain responsibilities for Swindon projects including but not limited to:

  • Take responsibility for FM spend management across the Swindon site i.e., Warehouse and ICC

  • Proactively promotes GS EMEA Supply Chain processes, policies and procedures and actively shares this information with those from the above projects with which they interact.

  • Stakeholder management; proven excellent internal and external stakeholder management.

  • Supply chain support of the above projects including the following where appropriate:

    • Category Management

    • Contract Management

    • Supply Chain Operations

    • Management of transactional activity with the International Transactional Hub based in Chennai

    • Act as the central contact for all stakeholders with the above projects to meet purchase order SLA’s

    • Covert purchase requisitions to purchase order where needed

    • Ensure spend is compliant and all necessary documents are in place for the required purchase i.e., quotations, SSJ’s and FWA’s, identify gaps and rectify.

    • Maintenance of filing systems and databases according to GS EMEA document storage

    • Use of eProcurement tool to complete business requirements for RFQ’s and ensure compliance with requirements, including execution of requirement through the appropriate procurement tool when appropriate.

  • Working with Supply Chain Category, Contract and Operations teams where applicable.

  • Collaborative working with global team/s as appropriate.

  • Input into process improvement for Supply Chain Operations set up for Swindon projects.

  • Carry out procurement activities, in-line with company processes, through enquiry to award stages for both products and services.

  • Use of Microsoft Outlook for email and diary management to support Supply Chain and project teams.

  • Full adherence to the Compliance and Business Conduct Policies.

  • Full compliance with the Health, Safety, Environment and Employment Policies.

  • Establishes priorities for the completion of assigned tasks. Uses judgment to interpret internal and external issues.

  • Supplier engagement and management.

  • Project planning/scheduling.

  • Demonstrates excellent negotiating, verbal, and written communication skills.

  • Ability to look for potential suppliers and reviewing specifications and quotations for said project suppliers.

  • Processing UK eyes only purchase orders.
