Architectural Field Engineer

Location: Skelleftea, Sweden

My client is seeking an experienced Architectural Field Engineer to join their team and contribute to the successful execution of complex projects.



Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with architects, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure architectural designs are implemented accurately in the field.

  • Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions, review construction progress, and address any design-related issues.

  • Verify that architectural plans align with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.

  • Work closely with contractors, subcontractors, and tradespeople to resolve technical challenges during construction.

  • Provide technical expertise on architectural details, materials, and construction methods.

  • Assist in coordinating interdisciplinary efforts (architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical) to achieve project goals.

  • Perform quality control checks on architectural elements during construction.

  • Document field observations, changes, and deviations from the original design.

  • Collaborate with the design team to develop solutions for unforeseen issues.



Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or related field.

  • Experience as an Architectural Field Engineer, preferably in [pharmaceutical/semiconductor] projects.

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other design software.

  • Strong understanding of building physics, construction processes, and architectural principles.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.



Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with [pharmaceutical cleanrooms/semiconductor cleanrooms] design and construction.

  • Knowledge of sustainable design practices.

  • Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and tight schedules.
