NRL are currently recruiting for a Architect/Senior Architect to join one of our large clients based in Birmingham for an initial 6 months contract. 

Key requirements for this role are strong design skills, strong communication skills with a collaborative working and positive, can-do attitude. Strong project leadership and technical skills with the ability to control all aspects of project delivery. Strong design coordination and collaboration skills with the ability to work and assume a key role within multi-disciplinary design team are an essential aspect of this role.

You will need to be able to work independently and take design responsibility for decision-making and output deliverables.


Here’s what you’ll need:

  • Qualified Architect in the UK with professional registration

  • Degree in Architecture and/or Urban Design

  • Professional experience of the delivery multi-disciplinary design and construction projects

  • MA or MSc higher education qualification to RIBA Part 3

  • Knowledge of BIM based delivery including Autodesk Revit

  • Strong Design Drawing and written communication skills

  • Advanced English language skills

  • Ability to lead Architectural teams on large multi-disciplinary design projects.

  • Strong Inter-disciplinary design coordination

  • Strong problem solving, attention to detail, with a desire to come up with practical solutions.

  • Highly self-motivated with ability to work unsupervised.

  • Team player able to work collaboratively in project teams.

  • Proactive working mindset with flexible-working approach – able to work on a wide range of design projects.

  • Knowledge of Revit and software platforms and tools including BIM 360, NBS Specification

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of multiple design sectors including complex infrastructure projects

  • Ability to travel within the UK and Europe to periodically to support project delivery.
