Quantity Surveyors advise on contractual and financial matters for construction projects. Quantity Surveyors also support other functions regarding the financing and materials required on construction projects.

In general terms, a Quantity Surveyor is expected to manage overall costs/budgets on projects as well as developing cashflow forecasts, monthly valuations, CVR reports, accruals and more. Quantity Surveyors are generally responsible for procurement and management of sub-contract packages and payments.
