Electrical Supervisor
An Electrical Supervisor oversees the work of electricians on a job site. The role can be challenging, and it takes both theoretical skills and good communication skills to supervise others. A comprehensive understanding of electricity networks is essential for Electrical Supervisors, along with an ability to read plans or wiring diagrams and knowledge of safety rules and procedures.
Electrical Supervisors must also be able to deal with contractors or suppliers when necessary, so excellent management and interpersonal skills are also important.
Working as an Electrical Supervisor you’ll be required to plan and direct work from beginning to end, checking to ensure that acceptable standards are being met. Electrical Supervisors must have a range of skills and experience under their belt before applying for the position, including good communication and organisational skills, as well as knowledge of safety procedures.
