On behalf of our client, NRL Recruitment are looking for a Senior Project Information Manager for work in the Oxford area

Duration: Perm

Start: asap

Locations:  Oxford – Ellison Project – Cancer Research Facility

Rate:  £55000 + car allowance 

Hours: 40 hours per work

Must Have: Asite (Aconex or similar would be okay, SharePoint or EDMS system)


Key Deliverables and Accountabilities:

  • Manage a team to deliver an exceptional Information Management service to the project

  • To prepare, agree and communicate project Information Standards and Methods & Procedures documentation working collaboratively with the Digital Engineer and with support of Regional Information Management team.

  • To establish roles and responsibilities for information management team, working with relevant Functional Lead(s)

  • Lead the selection of the Information Management team, retention of staff, personal development, training and appraisals with support from the Functional Lead.

  • Ensure effective communications systems are in place

  • Management of EDMS (usually Asite) adhering to best practice but looking for further efficiencies that could be replicated throughout the business

  • Security minded approach to data, ensuring correct access rights are in place for a timely period

  • Advising on internal document management utilising best practice

  • Co-ordinate and collate project reporting, inclusive but not limited to Client reports, and system reporting

  • Deliver training to staff on information management systems, with support from the Regional Information Management team

  • Managing the quality procedures for all Administrative and Document Control activities

  • Manage implementation, maintenance, training and support for the mobile quality management system, preferably Field View

  • Take a leading role in digitising project processes through existing toolsets, and with support from IT around mobile capabilities.

  • Production of the digital handover, or facilitation if an external vendor appointed. Setup and management of system, reporting and regular project meetings

  • Provide system support and training to project procurement team for tender documentation and addendums

  • Establish and facilitate archiving procedures in accordance with current LOR group policy, both electronic and hard copy. Assist with archiving throughout project life cycle

  • Review procedures and systems and provide feedback to central functions around forming best practice

  • Identifying digitising opportunities

  • Attending and engage in business/functional forums

  • Additional duties and responsibilities as designated by the project


Technical Capabilities:
Competent:

  • Detailed knowledge of ISO19650

Advanced:

  • Understanding of quality management systems

  • Mobile device use, tablet and smart phone

  • Knowledge of digital handover process

Expert:

  • Microsoft Office tools (specifically Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams)

  • Collaboration/EDM Systems, preferably Asite

  • Digital handover processes

  • Field view implementation capability
